How do I join a team?
Tryouts are held in May. Visit the tryouts page for more information. If you missed tryouts but are still interested in joining a team, contact the coach for the appropriate team, or submit a Player Interest Form. If a coach has reached out to you to register for a 2023-2024 team, more information on how to Register your player can be found here.

Newberg Youth Soccer offers competitive programs for players who wish to gain technical skills, increase their soccer knowledge, and achieve a higher level of play.
Do players have to live in Newberg to participate?
No. Players come from several surrounding areas.

Where are games and practices held?
Practices are generally held at a variety of locations in or near Newberg. Home games are played on the turf field at Newberg High School. Away games can be located in the Portland Metro area for younger age groups, and older age groups may periodically travel to more distant locations such as Vancouver, Eugene, and Bend. See the program page for more details about specific age groups.
What teams do Newberg Youth Soccer teams play against?
NYS teams play teams from clubs in other communities around Oregon and SW Washington.
