Newberg Youth Soccer believes in supporting our soccer community. The following are ways you can help support, or find support if you need it.
Gear Exchange
Kids grow quickly and gear sadly does not grow with them, so Newberg Youth Soccer has a gear exchange group. NYS club members can join this Facebook group and exchange cleats and other soccer related items.
Before you buy new, check within the group to see if someone may be ready to pass down some gear that would fit your player.
When you find your player has outgrown some of their gear, consider sharing within this group.
If you are not already connected, join the group today and start sharing!
Financial Scholarships
Newberg Youth Soccer (NYS) believes all children should be able to play soccer, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Families in need are offered the opportunity to play through our need-based scholarship program. If you know the posted club fees will be a hardship on your family, please apply for financial aid. All applications will be considered and reviewed in strict confidence by the club’s Scholarship Committee, made up of NYS President, Treasurer, and Registrar. No full scholarships will be awarded. Recipients will be awarded partial amounts and will agree to pay the remainder of the fees.
