Newberg Youth Soccer (NYS) believes all children should be able to play soccer, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Families approved for support are offered the opportunity to play through our need-based scholarship program. If you know the posted club fees will be a hardship for your family, please apply for financial aid. All applications will be considered and reviewed in strict confidence by the club’s Scholarship Committee, made up of NYS President, Treasurer, and Registrar. Partial scholarships will be awarded based on need, up to 90% of the registration fee with the remainder being the responsibility of the family.

We are looking for businesses in our community to partner with us on the following sponsorship opportunities, because we believe in the power of soccer to uplift, inspire, and unite.
Matching Donations Through Benevity
Benevity matching donations are contributions made by employees of companies that use the Benevity platform, which their employers then match. This effectively doubles (or sometimes even triples) the original donation amount.
How Do Benevity Matching Donations Work?
- Employee Donation: An employee decides to donate to Newberg Youth Soccer Club through the Benevity platform.
- Company Match: The employee’s company, if it participates in Benevity’s matching program, matches the donation according to their policy (e.g., dollar-for-dollar).
- Increased Support: The total donation received by Newberg Youth Soccer Club is the sum of the employee’s contribution plus the matched amount from the company.

Donate Through PayPal
Personal donations, even without a company match are still a great support to our club. Donations directly impact the mission of the club by funding player scholarships and purchasing equipment for training and games.
(NEW) BottleDrop Blue Bag Giving Program
Help support our 
club 10 cents at a time. It can add up quickly! There are two ways that you can support our club with your empty cans and bottles.
OPTION 1
Supporting our club through this program is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1) GET your blue bag from us, contact us to arrange
2) FILL your blue bag with all of your empty bottles & cans (try to fill to capacity)
3) DROP off your blue bag at a BottleDrop location by simply scanning the code that is on the bag (Our Newberg Fred Meyers is the closest drop location).

Don’t want to mess with additional bags for your deposits?
You can also donate funds online, directly from your BottleDrop account balance to a Give account. To do this, simply login to your account and search for Newberg Youth Soccer.

Gear Exchange
Kids grow quickly and gear sadly does not grow with them, so Newberg Youth Soccer has a gear exchange group. NYS club members can join this Facebook group and exchange cleats and other soccer related items.
Before you buy new, check within the group to see if someone may be ready to pass down some gear that would fit your player.
When you find your player has outgrown some of their gear, consider sharing within this group.

Official Merchandise
Merchandise is one way that we work to raise money to support our soccer community. Show your team support while sporting the latest NYS fan wear. All proceeds go directly to the club for equipment and scholarships.
